Joanne 'Jo' Newton, a girl desperate for attention from her workaholic father ends with her going to private school after a break in at her dad's computer company. The school is under going tests of a new security system. Jo and several others students are to remain behind while the others leave for Spring Break. Little does Headmaster Bradeen (played by Lance Henriksen) know, but Jo has hacked into a computer and has unleashed a super virus called "Mangler 2.0" in the security system, but what she doesn't know is that this virus literally has a mind of it's own, and it controls everything around the school, so it is very capible of killing everyone in sight

This is a gentle, innocent film about the reflections of an aging man (David Morse), who returns to his home town after the death of his best friend. Memories of life at age 11 floods back as it was a magical time that changed his life. Three 11 year old children (Anton Yelchin as Bobby, Mika Boorem as Carol, and Will Rothaar as Sully) share their lives. Carol & Bobby have a special affection for one another including sharing a kiss "by which all others will be measured". Bobby lives with his mother (Hope Davis), a bitter, vain woman who looks for pleasures for herself without sharing much with her son. Into their lives comes a mysterious new boarder (Anthony Hopkins), who befriends the boy but generates distrust from the mother. As time passes, the man and boy share confidences and special powers are revealed. The man warns the boy to be on the lookout for the "lowmen", who were seeking him. The two share a summer's adventures and come to love one another before the inevitable happens. A confrontation with a school bully (Timothy Reifsnyder) also changes everyone

The Eagles - Hell Freezes Over (1994)

This is the superb video version covering the equally terrific live album of the reunion of the fabulous Eagles, which was, of course, the singular musical event of the year when it was released, based as much on the fact that the individual members of the former super-group had likened their chances to reforming and performing as a group again was as likely as the title. Well, all things are possible to those who wait, and our wait has been rewarded with an accurate depiction of a richly textured and memorable effort that covers many of their best previous songs as well as several new ones.
Thus we trip from "Tequila Sunrise" to "Hotel California", from "New York Minute" to "Desperado", and from "Take It Easy" to "Life In The Fast Lane". The single best aspect of the video is the fact that it shows just how much the guys are enjoying themselves here, as well as the simple fact that they are out there creating and working together, which gives one hope concerning their possible future works, and given other recent efforts like "A Hole In The World", it appears they are again gathering and recording. Hope we don't have to wait for Hell to freeze over again.

The LightRigger script runs inside 3ds max 3-2008 and provides a draft-quality, global illumination lighting system for the default scanline renderer. Unlike full-featured global illumination renderers, LightRigger uses standard 3ds Max lights and components to simulate only the diffuse interreflection component of global illumination.

LightRigger's main advantage is speed, both in setup and rendering. The core principle on which it's founded is the well known "old-school" approach of using a light dome or rig, but LightRigger takes it much, much further. Using a little-known behavior of the default scanline renderer, LightRigger is able to convert Light Rigs into Shadow Rigs, which add shadows but no light at all to the scene. This is what allows multiple Rigs to work together in the same scene....something that is impossible using any other available light dome script.

LightRigger is also unique in that objects illuminated with its Rigs are able to move and animate freely, rather than be restricted to the scope of a single, large light dome. The amount of control in the LightRigger system is unmatched, allowing you to focus on your scene instead of continually managing a loose group of lights

STORY:

It is 1898. In the New Mexico wilderness, Daniel Plainview (Daniel Day-Lewis) works his silver mine. When he breaks his leg when he finally finds the silver ore, he drags himself to town to sell it. He hires a crew, including a man caring for an infant son. When the silver mine plays out, Plainview discovers oil in the mine. He builds a pump and recreates himself as an oil man. The young father dies in a drilling accident. Planview adopts the young boy as his own and names him H.W. Nine years later, Plainview is a successful if still somewhat minor oil man. He has several productive wells around New Mexico and, with H.W. (Dillon Freasier), travels the state to buy the drilling rights to private property.

Storyline While Ben is presenting new information about John Wilkes Booth and the 18 pages missing from Booth's diary, one man stands up and presents a missing page of John Wilkes Booth's diary. Thomas Gates, Ben's great-grandfather, is mentioned in the page. It shows that Ben's great-grandfather could have been a person involved with Abraham Lincoln's murder. When doing more research, the conspiracy takes Ben, Abigail, and Riley to Buckingham Palace(which they break into). It takes them to a book in the White House(which they break into also)and they even steal a page from the book. But in order to see more from the book, their choice is either get elected president or kidnap the President of the United States. Which do they choose? It's obvious. The conspiracy then crosses to Mount Rushmore and they even mention the JFK conspiracy. Could Ben clear his family's name? Or will his family be known as the descendant of Abraham Licoln's murderer?

SYNOPSIS

Director Matt Reeves (THE PALLBEARER) and producer J. J. Abrams (LOST, ALIAS) turn a mysterious monster loose in Manhattan in the disaster flick CLOVERFIELD. The movie begins at a party for Rob (Michael Stahl-David), who has accepted a promotion that will send him to Japan. Hud (T. J. Miller) is entrusted with the responsibility of videotaping the party--and as the trouble grows, he holds on to the camera, recording everything that happens. In fact, the entire movie is seen through the lens of his camera, reminiscent of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. As terrified people in a post-9/11 New York City take to the streets, Rob decides to head uptown to try to save Beth (Odette Yustman), the woman he loves, though he's afraid to tell her so. Rob is joined by his brother Jason (Mike Vogel), Jason's girlfriend Lily (Jessica Lucas), Lily's friend Marlena (Lizzy Caplan), and Hud, who has a thing for Marlena. Rob is determined not to give up, even after almost being crushed by the Statue of Liberty's head and as the military shows up to force evacuation of the city. Reeves and first-time screenwriter Drew Goddard, who previously has written television episodes of such series as BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, ANGEL, ALIAS, and LOST, focus in on the central aspect of the story: people trying to survive the monster attack. Very little else is explained, since the story is told completely through the video camera. And there is no additional score to heighten the drama; the only music is that which is picked up by Hud and the camera's microphone, including snippets of songs by Kings of Leon, Parliament Funkadelic, Of Montreal, and others. The anticipation of CLOVERFIELD's release was enhanced by a viral marketing campaign that included Web sites built around the main characters and even the fictional drink Slusho

Robert Neville is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable, and man-made. Plot Summary:

In the past few years, the aging John McClane (Bruce Willis) has spent his time in and out of Alcoholics Anonymous and has managed to get divorced from his wife. He is no longer employed by the police department, but has found a position with Homeland Security chasing dangerous computer hackers. On his way to turn a young hacker named Matt Foster (Justin Long) into custody, he experiences a modern version of a terrorist attack first hand when he gets stuck in traffic. A group of hackers have struck at the vulnerable United States computer infrastructure and are systematically shutting it down, beginning with the traffic light system. As they move on to crash banking networks and the stock market, the indexes plummet and America’s economy becomes crippled. As usual, McClane gets caught up in the middle of the excitement. It turns out that the recently captured Matt seems bright enough to understand exactly what the terrorists are doing and what steps they are taking to achieve their mission. The sophisticated criminals have a nearly foolproof plan to bring the country to a halt, but they didn’t count on an old-school cop and his computer geek buddy to figure things out. Soon, the crime-fighting duo of McClane and Foster are pulling out all the stops and matching wits with the terrorists, hoping to figure out the motives behind their actions and to stop them before the entire nation collapses to its knees on the anniversary day of its independence.

Summary

Director Ridley Scott spins this yarn concerning a Harlem drug kingpin (Denzel Washington) who smuggles heroin into the country by hiding it in the bodies of U.S. soldiers killed during battle in Vietnam. There was a time when no one noticed reserved driver Frank Lucas (Washington), but when the criminal kingpin he was charged with transporting through the city streets suddenly dies, Lucas seizes the opportunity to build his own criminal empire. In the following months, Lucas solidifies his status as Harlem's most innovative drug dealer by delivering a product that is purer than the competitors' and cheaper, as well. When innovative businessman Lukas attempts to go semi-legit by becoming one of the Manhattan borough's biggest civil supporters, however, street-savvy outcast cop Ritchie Roberts (Russell Crowe) begins to sense a sizable shift in the hierarchy of the drug underworld. But Roberts is one of the few honest detectives operating within a corrupt system, and as he sets out to investigate the case, crooked detective Trupo (Josh Brolin) does everything in his power to compromise the integrity of his idealistic counterpart. Upon clearing all of the usual Mafia-connected suspects, Roberts begins to believe that a previously unknown black power player has come out of the woodwork to dominate the local drug trade. While Roberts and Lucas may be operating on opposite sides of the law, the one thing that both men have in common is a strict code of ethics that separates them from their opportunistic colleagues. Now, as a confrontation between the two men becomes inevitable and the fate of each becomes inexorably tied to the other, it gradually becomes apparent that only one of them will emerge from the conflict victorious.

Plot: While performing on Lake Springfield, Green Day fail to engage the audience in a discussion about the environment. They are killed when pollution in the lake erodes their barge and causes it to sink. At the funeral, Grampa has a religious vision, in which he predicts impending doom upon the town, but only Marge takes it seriously. Lisa and an Irish boy named Colin hold a seminar where they convince the town to clean up the lake. Meanwhile, Homer adopts a pig, which causes Bart to seek a new parental figure in neighbor, Ned Flanders. Homer keeps the pig's feces in an overflowing silo, which horrifies Marge, who tells Homer to dispose of it safely. However, Homer is distracted and instead dumps the silo into the lake, polluting it. When the EPA discover this, Russ Cargill, head of the EPA, encloses Springfield in a giant glass dome.


When the police discover that Homer was the one who polluted the lake, an angry mob approaches the Simpson's house. The family escapes through a sinkhole in Maggie's sandbox and flee to Alaska. Meanwhile, Cargill put together a plan to demolish Springfield. When the Simpsons discover this, Marge and the kids decide to save the town, but Homer refuses to help the people that tried to kill them. The family leave to rescue Springfield without Homer, only to be captured and placed back in the dome.


After a visit with a mysterious Inuit Shaman, Homer has an epiphany that he must save Springfield. He returns to the city to find a helicopter lowering a bomb through a hole in the dome. Homer climbs the dome and descends the rope, knocking the bomb off. Homer then boards a motorcycle and grabs the bomb. He and Bart cycle up the side of the dome and Bart throws the bomb through the hole, seconds before it designates. The bomb's explosion shatters the dome and Homer rides off with Marge on the motorcycle. The townspeople begin restoring Springfield to normal.
